A place of conviviality and discovery, the Maison de la Tour welcomes established and up-and-coming artists who explore all subjects with complete freedom. They use all forms of expression, all materials and all technologies, from the most classical to the most contemporary.
La Maison de la Tour, which has been located in a village with an artistic vocation since the 1970s, has set itself the task of creating a link between artistic practice and the local area, with the support of the municipality, the Département and the Region.
It benefits from the use of a characterful building to house its offices and exhibitions, as well as the Cube, a modern architectural element in the heart of the old village, which houses artists in residence, and La Salle, a space equipped for the presentation of shows.
This municipal commitment and the programming offered by the Maison de la Tour ensure Valaurie's appeal to both artists and the general public.
Numerous partners from the cultural, economic and institutional spheres are involved in this approach.
