Built from the 12th-century chapelle castrale, the Romanesque church was originally dedicated solely to St. Menne, but was also assigned to St. Marcel when the eponymous chapel collapsed and the work could not be completed.
Description
The church of Saint Marcel and Saint Mène is home to some fifteen 17th-century painted wooden statues listed as historic monuments, as well as a painting depicting a calvary at the foot of which are the village's patron saints. There is also a baptismal font carved into a Corinthian capital and supported by a Roman column.
